YES. Although NCMB is actively looking into securing instruments and other members may have extra instruments, supplies are LIMITED. Please attempt to secure your own instrument first.

While rehearsals and performances are MANDATORY, we understand emergencies and

uncontrollable or unseen circumstances arise. COMMUNICATION with Directors is REQUIRED to be excused from rehearsals and performances.

Although NCMB actively seeks to provide opportunities and support for performing arts students of all ages, to be a member of our SUMMER ensemble, you at least must be in High School.

In order to submit an arrangement and have it POTENTIALLY played, you must be a current or former member of NCMB. There are no guarantees that once your arrangement is submitted, it will be played. The Directors will provide and decide on what arrangements are played.

While the core of NCMB operations is primarily based in the Piedmont Triad Area of North Carolina, rehearsals will be where facilities can be secured which includes, but is not limited to: Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem, Lexington, Fayetteville, Charlotte, Durham, and Rocky Mount.
